Teaching with an infectious passion for acting & filmmaking
After years of learning different aspects of acting and filmmaking, I moved to Queenstown from Auckland in 2023, and despite a growing presence of exciting productions, noticed there is a gap in local offerings for actors. My screen acting classes were born out of a desire to create a networking and practice ground for fellow actors, and to share the knowledge and tools I've learned and tested myself to build up our talent and increase local casting.
Starting out in extra work and theatre, I have professional experience on over 10 different TV shows over 7 years in Auckland, including roles on Shortland Street and Double Parked. I've taken part in a variety of acting training courses, notably an 80-week Meisner technique course by prominent US coach Michael Saccente. I have an ATCL Diploma in Performing Speech and Drama and a Bachelor of Arts in Screen Production from the University of Auckland. I also work as a casting assistant for commercials and am passionate about supporting the local screen industry, creating my own short films and working as the coordinator of the Southern Filmmakers Collective.
I started running classes with the desire to create a network and practice ground for fellow actors. Through teaching I’ve found areal passion for sharing this craft and building up our local talent.
