Passionate, meticulous, deeply connected to the Queenstown acting community, and genuinely great with people.
I am highly interested in developing myself as a casting director on the ground in Queenstown, New Zealand with a focus on small local projects, and assisting casting efforts for larger productions shooting in the region.
I currently work in tvc casting, assisting Jackie Gay at Still Vision, and bring a year of varied hands-on TVC casting experience alongside a wide range of skills developed through acting, teaching, self-tape coaching, and my previous work in the legal industry.
Queenstown and the wider region is home to passionate and skilled actors across screen and stage but productions often look to main centres. I am passionate about shifting that: training local actors through my classes to be camera-ready professionals, connecting local performers with opportunities, and giving productions access to a vibrant, underutilised talent pool.
My network spans my screen acting classes, established in late 2024, past self-taping clients and auditionees, the local theatre scene, the region's talent agents, and amateur filmmaking communities. I know the local acting community personally, and that makes a real difference when it comes to finding the right person for a role.
I am always thrilled to support non-professional passion projects. Short films, student productions, spec ads, and independent projects build our local talent in front and behind the cameras, and I am genuinely excited to be part of those projects, so please get in touch!
A professional studio with excellent natural light, clean backdrops, and top-quality camera and lighting equipment, efficiently edited. I am an experienced reader, bringing genuine acting presence that helps auditionees relax and perform at their best.
For more demanding performance-heavy projects seeking out new talent, I can offer coached auditions where candidates are worked through the material for a deeper, more nuanced performance.
We worked with an amazing casting director Amalia who was able to get me just the most incredible cast. I gave her the brief and she just found the best cast for me ever, it was so good.
